BLUE BAY GUARANTEE

CONDITIONS OF LIMITED WARRANTY AND GUARANTEES

Blue Bay Lifestyle warrants to the original purchaser and to any person to whom the product is given or sold during warranty with the original proof of purchase, that all Blue Bay outdoor

products are manufactured from new materials.

Blue Bay warrants that the outdoor range of products it sells is free from abnormal defects in material and workmanship and is in good working order. The company does not warrant

uninterrupted or error free use of its products.

RESIDENTIAL USE:

The General Warranty from date of purchase, For RUST is for a period of 5 YEARS, for WORKMANSHIP is for a period of THREE YEARS, MATERIALS is for a period of THREE YEARS and WOODEN/NATURAL MATERIALS is for a period of ONE YEAR. The fabric is guaranteed between THREE to FIVE years (Depending on fabric choice). The Workmanship on the fabrics is guaranteed for TWELVE MONTHS. Provided that such material is subjected to normal use in an indoor or outdoor environment and that maintenance as recommended by BLUE BAY is followed. Wooden products do require maintenance every 6months – 1 year. This would be a very light sand of the wood and then to apply a new coat of oil/water based solution. Umbrellas are guaranteed for 1 year, NB to note this does not include damage caused by heavy wind.

During the Warranty period, BLUE BAY will first attempt to diagnose or rectify faults or problems over the telephone, the internet or by fax. BLUE BAY and/or its appointed employees and/or agents shall at their sole discretion decide whether the furniture is defective and whether warranty is valid. It shall be at the discretion of BLUE BAY to remedy any defect by adjusting, repairing or replacing the relevant product(s).

Take at least one picture of the problem and one picture of the entire piece. These photos along with original invoice need to be emailed to Warranty@bluebay.co.za. You can also mail this information to our Warranty Department: 3 Coconut Grove, Shakas Head, Ballito or alternatively call us on 032 947 0770.

Blue Bay will not be liable for the transport cost if required.

The Purchaser’s sole remedy is the Warranty set forth above. BLUE BAY’s liability for the actual damages of any kind will be limited to the price paid for the product, its repair or replacement. This limitation of liability for actual damages does not apply to bodily injury or property damage for which BLUE BAY is held legally liable. In no event will BLUE BAY be liable for lost profits, incidental or consequential damages, even if advised of the said damages.

The statement of limited warranty is the exclusive warranty. All other express or implied warranties including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are excluded (except where said implied warranties are required by applicable law). No warranties either expressed or implied will apply after the expiration of the warranty period.
The warranty is extended only in the event of the product having been purchased from BLUE BAY and BLUE BAY may, at its discretion, request proof of
the purchase.
